OUR PHILOSOPHY
Paolo
Paolo, together with his family, founds his "conception of producer" on the study, care and respect for the balance of nature, without forgetting the heritage of traditions and customs handed down from past generations.
Each vineyard has its own identity and unique character, which is why it is nurtured, studied, and—only when necessary—treated. The winery is the den of the mind, but also of the heart and instinct.
Modernity and technology are not banned on the contrary! They represent, however, only one of the necessary tools to make wines for us and for our customers.
You will visit a family-run winery that blends modernity and innovation with tradition.
You will meet two people who invest all their resources to produce a wine of the highest quality at a fair price, because… not everything that is expensive is necessarily better!

Wine enthusiasts
We inform all wine lovers that here you won’t find glamour, trendy packaging, web marketing, or photos with famous or trendy personalities. Instead, you will find passion for this craft and true professionalism.
Here they will see a farmer who in the months from September to December has her hands marked with purple because the gloves filter and change the contact and the bond with the grapes and a wine-lover who left her job to devote herself to agriculture, trying to assimilate every possible notion.
People
They will talk to people who put the direct and personal relationship with their customers and suppliers first, who prefer not to go through intermediaries, who put face to face! Ours is a life choice that combines with a strategy that goes against the trend, but that allows us not to upset our personalities.
Last but not least, they will taste wines and taste unique products because no vintage is the same as the other, but above all because no cluster is the photocopy of the other.

ORIGINS
Ernesto
In the beating heart of Langhe and Roero, where the hills chase each other and stand out in an ever-changing embrace, lies the farm Gallo Ernesto by Gallo Paolo – “BRIC SORI’”. Here, in Govone, the land pulses with an ancient story, woven from passion and dedication that is inseparably intertwined with the scent of wine.
The name Bric Sorì, evocative and resonant, was born in the 1980s, but its roots run much deeper in time. It refers to the privileged location of our vineyards, kissed by the best southern and southwestern exposures, where the sun caresses each cluster and enhances its essence. Yet, to fully grasp the soul of Bric Sorì, we must go back generations, to those who first cultivated these vines—silent guardians of a wisdom passed down through time.
GENERATIONS
We, today
Over time, what was once a simple cultivation has blossomed into a dynamic enterprise, while firmly retaining its family nature. It is the story of Ernesto, who, as was the tradition, learned the secrets of the vineyard from his father, then instilling his deep passion in his son Paolo. Today, Paolo proudly carries on the art of winemaking, supported by Elena, his wife and the warm heart of our winery, ready to make you feel at home.
The love for this generous land has never faded. It is a fire that still burns bright in the new generations, Vittoria and Giacomo, who enthusiastically stand beside their parents, blending the joy of being together with the richness of wine culture.
